Called Express Flooring and had a smooth talking salesman, Stefan. Many promises made about quality of Express service and guarantee and work. I had previously and meticulously measured our tiny kitchen tile to need approx. 75-80sf...inc. extra for waste...but Stefan assured me more was needed and not to worry, the correct amount would be ordered. Install was good although cabinets were not covered as he promised and the workers did not lay out the several pieces on the floor for eval. as he promised. Workers did a nice job, but tile was taller than connecting floor, which we did not know until after the install. And, after install, we saw that we paid for 2 boxes of tile more than needed (20X20 tiles! (and the price of install for the same)). Workers doubted we could return for reimbursement but to call Express. I called the phone number Stefan provided...one of two was a nonworking number. On the second number, I was able to access his voice mail...4 times I called to talk with him, but never a return call! Calling 1-800- express directly, they only put me through to his voice mail...so much for immediate and lifetime product warranty if any problems. BUT the kicker is that once we started looking, we realized the product delivered and installed to/for us and the product sold to us were not the same (similar but by different company). Now we understand why Stefan chose not to return our call! Irony is we had decided that if we could not be reimbursed for the 2 box excess, we would order 2-3 more boxes and have the bath/hallway/closet done! Stefan's lack of professionalism now has cost Express an additional sale/install, and has created bad customer satisfaction! When a company spends so much money to advertise, should you not want to return a call and address customer concerns?
